On / Off Hire Bunker ROB Surveys Onboard quantity survey (BQS) at the time of Charter on Hire / Off Hire.
During survey,need to check log book quantity / actual quantity on board, also reference height mentioned in the table and actual height of the tanks – Fuel oil, Diesel Oil, Lube oil, Hydraulic oil, Gear oil, sometimes
After bunker intake immediately On / Off Hire Bunker ROB Surveys will be carried out, during this time we will observe the cappuccino effect inside the tank

On Hire/ Off Hire Bunker & Condition Survey
The on/off hire condition survey is an inspection of vessel’s holds, main deck, cargo working
areas and external shell plating. It is performed in order to identify any damage present prior to the vessel going on/off hire.
To Inspect And Report On The Condition Of The Hatch Pontoon Arrangements With Special Emphasis On:
- General condition of the hatch covers.
- Hatch pontoon lifting arrangements.
- Hatch pontoon container securing arrangement.
- Hatch pontoon manual cleats and lock down arrangements.
