The new service
According to Arabian Business, Emirates Shipping Line has launched a route connecting UAE ports with several destinations in China. Direct calls at Shanghai, Shenzhen and Qingdao give businesses in both countries a faster, more reliable link.
Why it matters
Trade between the UAE and China keeps growing, as the 19 agreements signed between the two countries show. More direct capacity helps keep transit times predictable and gives shippers more choice when comparing carriers, schedules and rates.
What it means for your cargo
For importers and exporters, a new direct service is one more option to weigh against existing services. Our ocean freight team compares carriers on transit time, reliability and cost, for both FCL and LCL. For urgent shipments, see our UAE–China air freight service.
