AIR CHARTER · DUBAI · ABU DHABI

Air Charter in the UAEUrgent or oversized cargo.
An aircraft planned around it.

When cargo cannot wait for a scheduled flight, or will not fit on one, JW Marine charters the aircraft. We have flown luxury cars from Japan to the UAE, carried project cargo from Korea to Abu Dhabi for critical oil and gas work, and chartered whole flights around a single client deadline. One team handles the quote, the aircraft, the paperwork, customs and the final delivery.

YOUR SERVICE. CONNECTED.

The right scope.
Built around the details.

An air charter books a whole aircraft, or dedicated space on one, for a shipment that scheduled services cannot carry in time or in size. The aircraft, routing and handling are planned around the cargo.

CHARTER SOLUTIONS

The right aircraft.
For the cargo you have.

Every charter starts with the cargo: its size, weight, value, how urgent it is and where it has to go. These are the charters we arrange most often.

Full aircraft charter

The whole aircraft, on your schedule and your routing. Best for large, urgent or high-value consignments that need a direct flight with no transfers.

Part charter

Space on a charter flight shared with other cargo, when a whole aircraft is more than you need but scheduled services cannot meet the date.

Oversized and heavy cargo

Freighters with nose or rear loading for machinery, generators, drilling equipment and other cargo too big or heavy for passenger-aircraft holds.

Vehicle charters

Luxury, classic, race and collector cars, and project vehicles, crated or driven on, secured by specialists and cleared on arrival.

Oil and gas, and urgent spares

Critical spares and equipment flown direct to keep rigs, plants and vessels running. Every hour of downtime costs more than the flight.

Dangerous goods

Batteries, chemicals and other regulated cargo on aircraft and operators approved to carry them, with the declarations and packing done correctly.

DELIVERED FOR OUR CLIENTS

Charters we have flown.
Cargo that could not wait.

A few examples of the work behind our air charter service. Client names are kept confidential.

JAPAN → UAE

Luxury cars, door to door.

A consignment of luxury cars flown from Japan to the UAE for a client who could not accept the time or handling risk of a sea voyage. We arranged collection and crating at origin, export formalities, the charter flight, UAE customs clearance and delivery to the client's premises.

KOREA → ABU DHABI

Project cargo for an oil and gas project.

Equipment needed on site for an important oil and gas project in Abu Dhabi, flown from Korea against a fixed project deadline. We coordinated the aircraft, loading at origin, arrival handling and clearance in Abu Dhabi, and onward delivery to the project.

CHARTERED ON DEMAND

A whole flight, planned around one deadline.

When a client's shipment could not wait for scheduled capacity, we chartered a dedicated flight for it, matching the aircraft, departure time and routing to the cargo and the date it had to arrive.

WHY JW MARINE

Charter expertise.
At competitive rates.

For businesses across the UAE, JW Marine is the charter partner that combines aviation know-how with a full freight, customs and logistics company on the ground.

Request a charter quote
  • Competitive charter rates

We compare options from several operators and brokers for every request, so you see real alternatives rather than a single price.

  • Experience with difficult cargo

Vehicles, project equipment and urgent oil and gas spares are what we fly. We know what each needs before it reaches the aircraft.

  • One team, door to door

Pick-up, export documents, the flight, UAE customs clearance and final delivery are handled by one team, with one point of contact.

  • Customs clearance in-house

Our own customs team prepares the clearance before the aircraft lands, so cargo does not wait at the airport.

  • Available around the clock

Charter requests rarely arrive during office hours. Our team answers urgent requests seven days a week.

  • Backed by sea, road and warehousing

Charter can be one leg of a larger move. Onward trucking to Saudi Arabia and the GCC, storage and sea freight are all in the same company.

FROM ENQUIRY TO DELIVERY

Six steps.
One team throughout.

How a charter runs with JW Marine. For urgent cargo, several of these steps happen at the same time.

  1. 01Send the details

Pieces, weights and dimensions, the cargo type, the airports or addresses at each end and the date the cargo must arrive. Photos help for unusual cargo.

  2. 02Options and quotation

We check suitable aircraft and operators and come back with options and a clear price, usually within hours for urgent requests.

  3. 03Confirm and contract

You choose the option. We confirm the charter agreement, the flight schedule and the documents and cargo preparation needed.

  4. 04Permits and preparation

Landing and overflight permissions, dangerous-goods approvals where needed, export documents, crating, labelling and delivery to the aircraft.

  5. 05Loading and flight

Loading supervised with the operator's loadmaster for safe weight distribution and securing. We keep you updated through departure and arrival.

  6. 06Clearance and delivery

Arrival handling, UAE customs clearance and delivery to your warehouse, showroom or project site, or onward transport across the GCC.

WHAT SHAPES THE PRICE

A fair price.
Explained, not hidden.

Charter prices are quoted for each flight. These are the factors that decide them, and where we look for savings for you.

  • Aircraft type and size

Matching the aircraft to the cargo is the biggest single saving. A smaller freighter may do the job.

  • Distance and routing

Flight hours, fuel stops and whether the aircraft must fly empty to reach the origin (positioning).

  • Timing

The notice you can give, and whether an aircraft is already nearby, both affect the price.

  • Airport charges and permits

Landing, parking, handling and navigation fees, and any special permissions.

  • The cargo itself

Dangerous goods, vehicles and outsized pieces can need specialist handling, equipment or packing.

  • Return flight

If the aircraft has a return or onward load available, the cost to you can fall.

What does Air Charter cover?

An air charter books a whole aircraft, or dedicated space on one, for a shipment that scheduled services cannot carry in time or in size. The aircraft, routing and handling are planned around the cargo.

What information should I send for an enquiry?

Include cargo type; pieces, weights and dimensions; origin and destination airports; required delivery date; dangerous goods or special handling needs. The team will confirm the specific information needed for your request.

Can I connect this with other services?

Additional requirements can be discussed in the same brief. Related services include Air Freight, Air Consolidation, Project Cargo Handling, Customs Clearance, Clearance & Delivery, Transportation. Describe the whole movement or vessel requirement so the handovers can be considered together.

How are timing and availability confirmed?

The team reviews your requirements, proposed dates and relevant arrangements before confirming scope, availability and pricing. The service-mix tool prepares an enquiry; it does not create a confirmed booking.

When is an air charter the right choice?

A charter suits cargo that is too large, heavy or urgent for scheduled air services, such as project equipment, oil and gas spares or time-critical deliveries. Share the cargo details and deadline so the team can confirm whether a charter, scheduled air freight or air consolidation fits best.

How quickly can an air charter be arranged?

For urgent cargo an aircraft can often be confirmed within hours, and the flight can operate within a day or two once permits and documents are ready. Permits and paperwork are the usual cause of delay, so send full cargo details as early as possible.

Is a charter more expensive than normal air freight?

Per kilogram, usually yes. But for large, heavy, outsized or urgent cargo, a charter can cost less overall than splitting the shipment across many scheduled flights, and it removes transfers, delays and handling risk. We will tell you honestly if scheduled air freight or air consolidation is the better choice.

Can you fly cars and other vehicles?

Yes. We have flown luxury cars from Japan to the UAE. Vehicles are prepared to the airline's dangerous-goods rules (fuel and batteries), secured on pallets or in crates, and cleared through UAE customs on arrival.

Can a charter carry dangerous goods?

Yes, on operators and aircraft approved for the class of goods, with the correct packing, labelling and shipper's declaration. Some classes need special approvals in advance, so tell us at enquiry stage.

Which UAE airports can you use?

Al Maktoum International (DWC), Dubai International (DXB), Zayed International in Abu Dhabi (AUH), Sharjah (SHJ), Ras Al Khaimah (RKT) and Fujairah (FJR), as well as airports across the GCC and worldwide.
