History
TCLC (Taicang Port Container Shipping Co., Ltd.) is a major Chinese shipping line established in 2010, headquartered at Taicang Port, a strategic location at the mouth of the Yangtze River. Backed by a joint investment of 500 million RMB from provincial, city, and county governments, TCLC has become a key regional container carrier, serving as a mainline hub for the Shanghai International Shipping Center’s northern wing. The company operates frequent weekly sailings, connecting Taicang, Nanjing, and Zhoushan with major Japanese ports (Osaka, Kobe, Tokyo, Yokohama, Nagoya, Hakata, Moji), as well as Korea (Busan) and Southeast Asia (Haiphong, Ho Chi Minh, Bangkok, Laem Chabang).
