Hindustan Shipyard Limited (HSL), founded in 1941 in Visakhapatnam, is one of India’s largest shipyards, capable of building vessels up to 80,000 DWT. HSL provides shipbuilding, repair, and submarine construction services, with a 2024 revenue of ?1,579 crore and 1,473 employees.
